Question,
Does anyone have experience with using the Twixtor plug in with DVX footage? I have footage(shot on 1/250) that will need slo-mo. Anyone know if it comes out? Or is effecient? If so please post a link or tell me about it...

I just havent heard how it does with progressive footage. Let me know ASAP!!!

Thanks,

I've used Twixtor with 24p footage shot at 1/60 and it's worked really well. I would recommend turning Motion Vectors off and setting the blend mode to Nearest. That will prevent any strange warping that may occur by using Motion Vectors and the Blend or Motion Weighted Blend modes. Those two modes are great for interlaced footage, but if you're shooting progressive you'll want to turn off those motion vectors and go for nearest. Try it with Blend and you'll likely see the warping I talk about. This is also covered really well in the tutorials on the Twixtor site. That's the only way I figured out how to kill the warping; by going through those tutorials.

Edit: Here's a link to the tutorial page. I'd recommend downloading the Basics Tutorials file as it covers everything you'll need to know. If you have any questions please ask. :D
