GH4 Slo Mo Settings For Gh4

So going to shoot some slo mo with the gh4 and wondering on what settings you guys use. We are going to use 96fps, 60fps, and 48ffps. I am trying to figure out which settings for each of these and then put them in a custom profile so we can switch over quickly. We are trying to figure out the best shutter speed and anything else you guys can input. :)

Thanks again.

Suggest you change Shutter Speed to Shutter Angle.

Typically I shoot with a 180* shutter angle & usually only change it if lights are flickering or occasionally if I need a bit of extra exposure.

That is great advice and I LOVE that it is an option with this camera :)

Definitely change to 180d shutter angle. Great feature!
I've found 96fps works awesome, as long as you realize that it's a little soft. So, I only use it for close ups.
If I need more detail, I'll do the 1080-60P thing and slow down 40% on a 24P timeline.

I have not tested this yet but whats the sharpest slo mo on the camera, my guess would be 48 frames per second but has anyone tried the 60 fps to see how much detail is retained. Also when you guys shoot slo mo is there a specific bit rate or setting you use other than the 180 shutter angle. Not sure if its good or not but I set it at 180 angle and never touch that even if i am shooting normal 24p mode.

1/50 for 24p, 1/60 for 30p and 1/120 for 60p. Sixty fps gives very good quality slow mo. 96 fps is not good enough for my needs.
