Slo-Mo in 1080??

Using the HVX200, I can see that I can under and over crank when shooting 720p but the options don't seem available when shooting 1080. I am shooting a spot in 1080 and would like the option to shoot slo-mo. Am I missing something?

The HVX200 doesn't do any undercrank or overcrank in 1080p. It's only available in 720p Mode.

You can use 1080/60i and de-interlace to get a lower-res slow-mo.

Or you can use 1080/30p for a full-res mild slow-mo.

Or you can drop over to 720p mode and just pull that slow-mo footage into your 1080 project.

If you have access to a Firestore FS-100 you can also shoot slo-mo in 1080. I haven't tried this yet, however I have done 1080 timelapses with the Firestore.

Timelapse results in fast-mo, not slow-mo.

Hence my pointing out that I had not done any slo-mo only timelapses.
