slo-mo dubbed on miniDV tapes (PAL)

Hi guys,
is there some PAL HVX user who tried the 50p in-camera downrez from P2 card to miniDV tapes?
I'm working on a big project in standard definition (it's a 2,5h indipendent movie, so it would be way too heavy for internet diffusion, and hard to store/edit ).
Before getting a P2 card, I'd like to hear some feedback from you.
Does The camera automatically slow the clip in 25P while dubbing on tapes? Does it look good? Let me know!

(I've used the 'search option, but I wasn't able to find anything about this feature)

If your talking about 50fps overcranked footage shot in 25pn then dubbed to tape then yes it does slow it down and it looks bonza !
Not sure what happens when you dump 50p to tape might have to give it a blast :)

Thanks man
Is it simple? Does the camera slow it automatically while dubbing? No complications? :)

Its very easy. If you shoot "overcranked" then the camera will play it back that way.

As I'm an Avid Xpress editor in PAL land I always dub down to tape for any VFR shots.
