I saw the sketch ... is that for a suit design or for concept or ...

Can't get too specific without giving too much away...what I will say is what you can see in the design will be accurately portrayed in the film...Ramon just finished our 1st roughcut...its really exciting....more BTS coming SOON!

Nice artwork. Something like underworld meets resident evil in a graveyard.
Gals with guns...or guns on gals.....well....the g's are killing me!
 
I've seen some of the rough cut footage and I'm the most happy with this than anything else I've done...by a LONG shot...

Yeah, I like the hands in the background, pressing up against the glass and whatnot. But the girl is rather familiar... reminds me of something.... oh yeah, Kill Bill! And personally, I would've gone with Draculas instead of Chupacabras, much more funny.

The kill bill look, as you call it is your standard Japanese School girl look this can be seen not only "Kill Bill", "Battle Royale" and "Blade" but practically every anime you've ever seen with a young woman in it. Although it's quite unique to see it in a film not centered around a Japanese lifestyle. Grace is very much Anime inspired and I hope that people, when they see the film, will be able to appriciate the Japanese influence through her and the Manga stylized shots.

As far as the short goes Chubacabras are deffinatly the best for this short Slims is in Chile after all :) I haven't seen too many "Draculas" in the desert! :love4:

Okay so just to clear things up since we might be mixing films up...

Slim's Revenge is a short prequel story about how the main character Slim Pickens comes to join a group of monster hunter mercenaries known as
The VanGuard Organization

In Slim's Revenge the character Slim is investigating a mysterious object which crashed to earth in the Atacama desert. While on this assignment he encounters the "Goat Suckers" which ya know are vampiric but not the most classic presentation of the Vampire lore.

The (above) concept poster (with the hands and school girl) we made featuring the character of "Grace" is for our feature project
CONTAGION:The Curse of Prosperity

Which while it is a ZOMBIE movie will have some nice cameos from other classic monster favorites.
