There is an epidemic sweeping the nation of my editing desk! Hard drives fall asleep after several minutes......
Is there a setting in FCP or in my system pref's that can control the time before my drives go into idle? It isn't a huge deal, but it just gets annoying if I am watching raw footage on one drive then switch to my timeline where my render files reside on another drive, when I have to wait usually 20 sec for my footage to load back up...
BTW, I am using a G-Tech 1TB over FW800 for render files and a Seagate 2 TB over USB 2.0 for my raw footage...
