As some of you may know, I recently directed a 30 minute short at Ikea, titled Sleepless Nights. This past week I've been trying to just relax, as I've been under quite unhealthy stress and have been hallucinating a bit since the production, but I'll be ready to post some footage soon.
It was a tough production, but we survived and we've got some really interesting stuff in the bag. Although Ikea looks like a giant soundstage, it's actually a quite horrible place for film production. Once you have it lit and prepped though, it becomes magical.
Here are a couple of behind the scenes stills. The first pic shows how I had my F35 configured for this shoot, with a Hyperdeck on top. And yes, that's me with the red bull.
