This is shaping up to be a pretty amazing Slamdance/Sundance with several major projects shot on HDSLR cameras, including a Sundance competition feature shot entirely with a Hot Rod 7D-PL, Like Crazy

This shot was stolen on the streets in London, and you can see the director (blurry) running out of the way of the actors and DP.

I've been contacted by a number of people who are in Park City right now, and it sounds like my AF100 Slamdance event on Tuesday is going to be well attended, so if you are planning on joining us it's recommend to show up early.

Actually the AF100 is the official Slamdance camera this year. There is a competitiion going on amongst 6 filmmaking crews to win an AF100. The first two crews go out this morning. I cna hardly wait until they finish their one minute films.

Very cool, Jan! Can't wait to see the films!

[Zak Forsman]

also check out the Pandemic 1.0 Mission Control installation at Sundance's New Frontiers exhibits. We are currently using an AF100 to create content for the experience, shot right here in Park City. We've been popping up all over town with it, attracting a crowd of curious filmmakers. The pieces will be available on the web site too.

Cool! Great looking line-up at this year's Sundance/slamdance. I'll definitely be showing up to the AF100-related events, look forward to meeting some of you there.

Zak, what is the Pandemic Mission Control your talking about? The link (http://www.hopeismissing.com/) doesn't do much until the countdown ends I guess.
