Sky replacement

We're making a short movie in our film class, so I am playing a little around in After Effects. This is my first attempt at replacing sky. Tell me what you think.

Good start... Now you need to put the trees back and add some clouds into the glass reflection of the building (the upper big one especially)

cheers

i would really like to learn how to do composites.

i have photoshop and pp. does it require anything else? What is the process?

Great job. I would disagree with others on the tree though. I think the composited verison as more of an eerie/dark feel with the modified tree in it. Great job! What did you use as your track points?

You can even use a cloud video in place of that image. I think it'd look cool if the clouds were moving a little, like a storm is coming.

Good job, one thing that sky replacement will depend on is the color of the sky. If its all blotchy you'll have a fun time replacing it but if its monochromatic like his was then you wont have anywhere near that much trouble. It depends on what you have to work with.
