Ski video teaser

Music is annoying but the shots are very nice. Liked the dolly as the guy is coming down the set of stairs. What kind of equipment do you have access to to get these kinds of shots?
 
Not sure what you mean by equiptment, I have a generator and floodlights for the night shots and a skateboard dolly that I made. I also do a lot of follows like hitting jumps with the riders, I just have to keep the fisheye on for those shots to make it look smoother... But thanks for the feedback man!
 
Hey Trent, looks very filmlike.
In the edit you cut away during the action several times where I wouldn´t. The first rail where we see the buildup. Did he ride it through? And then at the nice dollyshot you take out a section of the railslide. I understand it is a teaser, but you should leave some tricks in that make us go "Ahhhhh!"
 
Yeah, looking at it after I made it I saw the same thing. I kinda ran short on time with that song and wanted to get as many clips in as I could, so thats why I cut so many short. But next time I'll be sure to put more full shots in.
 
Very nice, I have to agree that it does look rather film like. Which sends it to the next level. What were your settings ?? I ask becuase when I tired to achive the look without getting sun in snow light reflection which will cause over expo. Was quite a challenge...

My settings were: Shooting 720p60 and 720p24pn

Detail: +2
V detail: 0
Detail coring:+2
Chroma Level: +3
Chroma phase: -3
Color temp: 0
Master ped: -2
Gamma: Cinelike D

And as for exposing I always just set the zebra at 100 and make the absolute highlights of the snow the only parts that are exposed that high. To be honest I guess I just got lucky with the filmlike look, cause I just messed with it til I thought it looked good, didnt really know what I was doing. Haha, but thanks for the input!
