u could have shot from much more interesting angles
plus the guys there only go up and down don't they know any tricks?
 
Thanks for the tips dangal. The fisheye angles usually look wierd in other positions, (there's like 3 common fish angles). That is why some shooters only shoot longlens... there is'nt much creativity in fisheye. The stuff the skaters are doing are tricks. It may not seem like it because they do not pop off the ground. They are called grinds/stalls.
 
cool fisheye stuff. its hard to get compliments on here with skate footage because older crowd doesnt understand traditional skate/fisheye look. what song was it? thanks keep it up
 
If I'm not mistaken it's an Arcade Fire song...off of their Neon Bible CD. As for your video it was really well done...nice work with the fisheye...but personally I really hate how the Death vignettes on the DVX100s...but yeah good job.

Yep, it's an arcade fire song. Its called "the well and the lighthouse".
I shoot long lens 24p occasionally, I mostly use 30p. I was planning on experimenting w/ 30p fisheye on a high shutter at the concrete park...but my scene settings didn't save. None of the 30p clips made the edit.
The skatepark is in Northbrook, Illinois, it does have a very arizona-park-like structure.
