beautiful.... i noticed a lot of houston spots... that wasn't all dvx was it? on some clips it looked like vx2000 footage.

not all of it was dvx. you're right there was vx2000 and vx1000 in there also.
all of the artsy shots were filmed 24p on my dvx100a and some of the actual skating was 30p
 
that was a great vid, some really good shots and well edited. there was some seriously good skating in there too!

The very beginning song was by Explosions in the Sky - From West Texas
 
Good skating and quality footage. alot like transworlds style. I grew up skating in San Diego. Ever heard of a video called In Public? Anyways im glad to see filmers are finally using the dvx and not using the vx1000.
 
definitely a good video, my only critique is that the voiceovers were not effective. The stuff he was saying was super sappy and emotional, yet he sounded like he was just reading it from a paper, almost like he was nervous.
 
Nice footage, good skating. Zoom in on the fisheye lens so we don't see the vignetting and pump up the voiceovers so we can hear what he's saying....
