Skateboarding Edit

This it the first full video I've shot with the HMC150. Our friends came down from Maryland to film skateboarding, and I documented the whole weekend with a "behind the scenes" type style. Hope you enjoy, all criticism is welcome!

Really enjoyed that - it was different than most skate edits, in the way it was presented. I don't think I could name exactly what was different, but it just looked like so much fun. It wasn't all about bangers thrown down some gnarly gap, it was about having a damn good time. And you really let the viewer see that. Well done.

I'm glad that's what you took from the video, because it was my aim exactly. I'm not really into skateboard filming, and with this project I wanted to have the focus on the people and the good times shared, rather than tricks being thrown down.

Thanks for the feedback!

Very nice piece and style... especially liked the use of the stills with motion. I know it gets very redundant with skatevideos, and you didn't need it, but I really love the Opteka 72mm fisheye. For 200 bucks it's great.

cheers

Looks sweet as dude.
You use FCP yeah?
Have any trouble loading your footy or is it all pretty straight forward?
Cheers Chris
