Skateboard dolly test

I'm curious how you actually moved around on a skateboard.

maybe he had one with the camera on then another to lay on and push himself with his legs.

Smooth "dolly" shots, that's for sure. Really nice looking footage. I like the vibrant colors. Your little brother's gonna be a star. Well, at least he will have some great home movies forty years from now. :)

GL2? poop. Shots look good, though. Also dig the "iron and wine".

It's funny that people with all the expensive equipment frown upon "homemade" equipment... but a lot of the time you can achieve an equal result. Sometime's better. Ahhh... if they could only see some of the contraptions I come up with on shoots.

Now try and do it at the same speed, without the slo mo.

wow, kickass for a gl2. was that all just natural light? any magic bullet or anything? the blown out windows looked very nice. what kind of wheels on the skateboard? smooooooth.......

Looks good. I'm suprised the GL2 looked that good.

I'd also like to see the wheels.

What song is that?

The first edit is a bit rough and doesn't flow as when compared to that great music selection. The camera come to a stop and the shot is over, and then the next shot the camera starts to move, one of the guides for editing is cut on the motion. Think about fading to black before the camera stops at the end of the first clip, then fade up from black onto the second clip after the camera starts moving. Your shooting skills are great, the editor in me just saw something that could be improved.
