This is some footage from a recent vacation. I happened upon a skate park while I was in town and this is what I ended up doing with the footage. There really wasn't much to work with by way of shots of tricks, etc, but I think it looks good. I'm mostly proud of the clarity and the colors.

looks a little on the red side of the white balance, but i'm not complaining. i also recognized the fella at the first from another video you guys did (too fat to ride on the back of a bike)

Looks nice. Looks like a fun park too. Where is that? Was this 24p? Im a noob so dont get mad. Heh.

That was in Louisville, KY. I shot 24PA using scene file F6, I used either 1/1000 or 1/500 shutter, I don't remember...

Bunch a NOOBs!! Heh, I liked the high shutter rate but it started to rub me the wrong way after a while. It looked a lot like 16mm some of the time, not a lot blown out or anything.

Bikers suck at skateparks, especially nubby little kid bikers. :zombie_smiley:

You should have been skating along side them in the shots, the DVX is designed for that kind of shooting. Its so light and balanced.

Nice track, but I like the original. I'm out!

Dude, I bike. Haha, I know what you mean though. We do take up a lot of room.

Heh, I'm just kidding with the bikers, I used to bike too. But I've also been skating a flybox and had a bike come fly at me. Pegs+Crank+Frame = :zombie_smiley:
