I wondered because I was going to move the POST if wasn't the DVX100. You dont have to sell me on what the camera can and cannot do, in-camera or in post

You can GRAB a frame that is not interlaced (or a frame that is not showing the interlace lines). It's a nice camera for its time but not filmic at all. I thought this looked like a PD150 or VX2000 or an XL1s or....

...or I was wondering if it was just shot in PAL 60i.

Just delet the hole tread John. It was a DVX100AE PAL anamorphic interlaced 50i. But you couldn't resist. You wanted to show who got the power? ;D
It means your camcorder can't take an image like this? To bad for you John. Just delet the hole ****.

an interlaced image is also a frame. Because you capture 25 frames/sec. If there isn't any movement in the picture than you don't see any interlaced effect.

And Pal isnt 60i only 50. ;D

dvxuser.com is a site with a community all geared towards helping each other, in a way that other forums just DON'T do - that's what makes it special.

Seems that one or two individuals have come on the scene basically to have an argument and nothing else. That helps no one. If you wanna do that - there's lots of other forums that'll gladly take you....

Skalve, he was asking this forum to post a night scene, city scene. He needed help to deside what to use.

The meaning of John's answer was: Get the f.... out and buy a DVX. And if you did, than can you come back and ask.

That was the reason to post 2 grabs, not to John but to "skalve". With your attitude John, you aren't helping any of the users here, They are not learning any technical or cinematography of you. Your answer most of the time is so meaningsless. You just showing up.

And if you are administrator than you should read the thread before you say "I gonna bane your IP". YOU DID NOT! You didn't had the clue what it was all about it. You just jumped in and you were just showing up, I'm the boss here!

With your 24p wife argue, with your color wheel argue, ... what's the metter with you? Why do you have to show up all the time?! As specially if you don't have the clue!

You sad you can bane my IP. My ip is logged so it can't be so difficult. I have leased line. My IP was the same 5 years ago and it going to be the same in 2012 as well. Show me you are the boss here. Bane my IP or otherwise I gonna come back and each and every time you just showing up , I gonna say you are nuts.

No, it isn't the anonyminity of the internet. You fingerprints is your IP. I can finde you and with a little help you can finde me regardless whatever internet connection we have. Nothing else. Not your registrated name or your nick, only your IP.

I guess you didn't registered your nick with your personal security number, just with one e-mail and a whatever name. Your Ip in given time is your only personal identity.

This site is a public site. You can feel free to come here and read, write, post , do what ever you like as long as you not violating the rules of the site. But there isn't anything about that you can't be disagree with others, you can't see I'm not so happy with the footage you posted. And someone saying shut the f... .... to you than you have to take it without any words.

I understand what an IP address is. However, respectfully, I would like to ask if we could stop this non-sense. This thread gets us no where. If John said something that you felt was inappropriate, you should have, in a respectful manner PMed him. So you could have had an adult conversation about it.

So I say, either drop it, and move on. Or move on to a different board.

Dont confuse me moving your footage from a DVX GRABS only section. That thread is specifically for people to show off the DVX footage and no other cameras. Tons of posts have been relocated for this reason and you are the only one to cry about it.

When did I argue about the color wheel? That image was supplied as an example of the color spectrum. You were the one who was confused and thought it was meant to do a WB on.

Dont presume to know the meaning of any of my answers if you have no clue. You seem to confuse simple replies as 'arguing'. Again, if you dont understand something it doesnt mean someone is attack you.

Your confusing matters on your disagreeing with the footage. A few people chimed in as you couldnt let go your opinion. You just kept going and going; (like the bunny). When the others asked you chill they meant "You voiced your opinion now lets move forward..."

You have the internet muscles strapped on a bit too tight. You're a bit of a Troll but I'm sure you've heard that before.

As a sign of your instability, your still going on about the footage from another thread and your amazement that something must be wrong with the camera. Let it go.

IMO - You just argue for the joy of arguing. Nothing wrong with disagreeing, but seriously, if someone disagrees with you, you fly off the handle. You have incoherent rambling arguments all over the board that serve no purpose. Every minute I waste reading your childish "come backs" is a minute I won't get back. You take the fun out of this board and have no right attacking talented, intelligent, respected members. if you came here just looking to fight then leave.

If came to give intelligent, mature feedback then do just and only that.

This will be the only post I make directed towards you and IMO everyone on the board should just skip over your posts and in time you will only be talking to yourself and maybe when the fun of attacking people is gone, so will you.
