hey i just did a small overhaul today, the front page still needs some work but once your in it should be a little faster, let me know if it works for you guys, and what problems you find.

Once you get in it's a bit faster. Fast enough, I think. The th part of 24th (as in the date, does that make sense?) is fuzzy. Anyone else getting that? It may just be this computer.

First thing I notice is that two of my favorite features are gone: the "quick reply" under the main thread, and the "new postings" search.

I guess I could live without the "quick reply" but that "new postings" was the bread 'n' butter of this board... does that have to stay gone, or can it come back?

I spent the last 12 hours next deep in CGI.

Quick reply and newest threads are coming back for sure, I cant live without them either, and they dont affect speed I just gutted them for the time being.

Yeah a few features got cut.. but im trying to find the balance of adding them back to see what slows it down the most.

Yes!

It took approx 2 seconds to load the main page. Whereas, before it was taking about 10 seconds or more.
