Single Slot USB 3.0 P2 reader?

Any rumblings of a USB3.0 reader in the wind? Now that Mac is in the process of adding USB3.0 to their line, it would be nice to be able to use the extra speeds. I know they have the 3 slot one. Would it really be that difficult to upgrade the single slot to USB3.0?

Panasonic is waiting for me to buy the USB2 version. Then they will release the USB3 version.

Panny's history on delivery of a cost effective P2 card readers was "Very very slow" to say the least, the single slotted PCD2 interestingly came onto the market about the same time as the Sonnet Qio reader, maybe we need sonnet to make a Thunderbolt/USB3 derivative to get panna production into gear. time will tell.
