Simultaneous Monitoring

Is it possible to monitor off both the Component and either composite or s-video outputs at the same time. I keep running into the problem where as soon as I plug in the component I lose the composite or s-video feed.

I guess this becomes a question of, can the camera monitor in HD and SD at the same time. Though, even setting the component output to 480i doesn't help the problem.

In a perfect world I'd like to send the component 720p signal to a Highdef production monitor for myself and the director and use the SD output for an on camera monitor for my AC. Anyone know if this is doable?

If it's the HVX-200, no way to do it. Period.

I thought I read that the RCA out on the HPX-170 was active all of the time no matter what the HD and SDI and FireWire were doing. If so, that will be a nice bonus. I shoot a lot of interviews that are usually transcribed so being able to record an NTSC DVD via the RCAs while monitoring via SDI or component at the same time would save so much time for me. My HPX arrives tomorrow and this will be one of the first things I try out.

Not sure at all on the HVX-200a, have not heard anyone mention if they changed this feature on it or not.
