As the title says, is it possible to simultaneously record HD 50P recordings internally in AVCHD at the same time as record 4K (or UHD) ProRes at 25P on the 7Q+?
I don't yet own the 7Q+ (I'm close to getting one soon), but I notice in the FS700's menu you can output raw at 4K 50P as well as record HD 25P internally. But will the 7Q+ take the 50P signal and record 4K at 25P in ProRes?
Ideally I want the 7Q+ to record 4K 50P ProRes, but I know that isn't possible at the moment. But on some shoots I'd like the option to use some shots at 50P (from the internal recording) that I can slow down 50% in post - and use the 4K 25P ProRes recordings from the 7Q+ for the majority of other shots.
But that does beg the often asked question - is it ever likely that 4K 50P ProRes (taken from the FS raw output) will be added to the functionality of the 7Q+? If you think it's never going to happen then please say, I'd like to know just the same.
