Hello,
I've just completed my first promo piece. This was done for my church, I'm looking for some constructive criticism so I can learn, improve my skills and grow. Editing is still possible for the next few days. Thanks for looking.

The main thing I would mention is the framing of the different talking heads. Too much headroom on the black guy. Also whatever white balance or color correction you've got on the white guy makes him look like a zombie. Nice job and congrats on finishing.

[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Tahoma, Calibri, Geneva, sans-serif]Thank you for the feedback. What you don't like pasty zombies. Jk. I didn't nail the color nor the white balance. My memory and research tells me to use an inexpensive grey card and a white reference, is that how you'd balance color in camera and create a custom white balance?

Regarding the framing issue, yeah, I noticed that too! I need to fill the left or right 1/3 of the frame with the talent. Next time!

Did is the background music bother you? I did notice the background track was bordering on imposing at times.

Hi Charlie,
I recently did another piece and I think the white balance and framing came out a bit better. I'd appreciate some constructive feedback on the new piece.

Here's a link to the new videos post.
