would you like it better if I painted up all pretty? :)

The front is just 1/4" plexi from the hardware store.

This thing will be 1" under water, pointing straight up, and just has to survive 1 shoot.

yes paint it, then resubmit it for a better grade, kep in mind all resubs are automaticly dropped one letter grade lol, to bad to, if you would have painted it prettty like, i'd of given you an A

There are some how-tos on instructables.com for similar housings.

This one is prettied up nicely, while this one is pretty ugly, but includes a water detecting alarm, and this one is my favorite because it is so simple.

I'm determined to build one of these this summer.

make sure it can take the water pressure... lexan polycarbonate is pretty tough, especialy the 20mm thick stuf....

for smaller cameras like that, you can go to bed bath and beyond to get one of those clear sugar jars with a gasket. I used that for a lot of wakeboarding videos and took it down 10ft in a pool and seemed to work fine. If your camera has a remote control, just put it in a couple ziplocks or bags that can seal so you can initiate the record function.

I'm off to the plumbing store tomorrow. I am really excited about making my housing. I think this summer will prove videographically interesting. Also want to try to recreate the scene from 300.
