Simple Question EVF

Simple question that seems tough right now. My EVF is showing black and white right now. I would like to use it in color. I go to the menu to the EVF settings. The Color Brightness and Contrast are all set to 0. Even when I crank the Color to +16 it is still black and white. Is there a color/B&W setting someplace for the EVF?

I can't wait for Barry's book. The manual is pretty bad for this camera. Also did anyone else ONLY get part 1 of the manual and not part 2?
 
Yes, there is a setting called EVF COLOR in the Display Setup Menu. It switches the EVF between color and b&w.
 
There is a b&w setting for the evf. It's on page 6 of 6 in the display settings menu. Just make sure it's set to on and you're good to go. As far as manuals go, only vol 1 was printed, vol 2 is on the cd rom in the camera box. I too can't wait for Barry's book.
 
I didn't even realize that part 2 wasn't printed out, as I had downloaded them online. The manuals are pretty bad though. For quite a few things I just came here to find out the answer because it was NOT clear (and hopefully Barry's book will fill in all the gaps). :)
 
Thanks...I knew it was a simple setting that for some reason I couldn't see.
