simple Q. How to capture into DVX

Hi All,

I am attempting to capture digi footage into the DVX100 using composite (RCA) cables. What settings do I need to have the DVX on to do this? I have played around in the menu but I can not see the video played off a digi deck in the DVX viewfinder.

Press the camera/vcr button on the back of the dvx to set it to vcr mode. Then press the 2 vcr record buttons on the top of the dvx to record the signal.

The issue is that no external image will appear in the viewfinder or LCD to record.

We have 2 dvx's here. 1 will do as you mentioned above to my first question, however the settings on the 2nd camera must be different but where and what I do not know as we have scrolled and compared the 2 menus to no solution.

What do I need to change in the menu to see the external image appear in the camera's viewfinder. Once visible I can press the 2 record buttons in VCR mode, but first I need to see the external image.
