Simple Player - View AVC clips on the Mac desktop?...

I know I can import to FCP and Premiere and watch, but would like to just copy my AVC video files to the desktop and just play.

Any good programs to do that? Any Quicktime plug-ins or separate software?

Core player is likely the best option.

I have WinDVD/Blu-ray player on 2 of my laptops that will play mts files right off of the card or from my desktop.
I have a 64 bit laptop and for some odd reason Windows Media Player can play mts files so I'm guessing the WinDVD has a codec that allows this because my 64 bit came from Sony with the player already loaded whereas my other two, I had to add WinDVD.
