Im looking at buying some lights & very interested in buying Kinoflo Divas but can't afford them just yet, Just wondering if anyone has tried these kinoflo knockoffs? They look like they're pretty well made & able to fit genuine kino fluro tubes which should give you the exact light as an original kino right?
Only down side that I can see is that it doesn't come with Eggcrates or Gel frame.

Another positive Alzo Pan-L Lite user here, the only downside is that the mounting bracket is not as versatile as the one from the Diva's, but for the huge price difference i can live with that.

I have (6) of the Alzo pan-L-lite with kino Flo true color biax bulbs 55K/32K to go with them. They are great lights and has never failed me.

Also, from time to time the guys over at Alzo Lighting gives discounts on lighting fixtures etc. Which is good..

There are all kinds of dual, or quad, or even six-tube biax units out there. You can get duals for under $200. Amazon sells the Cowboy Studio stuff, there's Alzo, FloLight, all sorts of stuff on eBay.

The biggest difference is the yokes or stand mounting setups. But a biax flo is a lot of light for the $$. A quad puts out a LOT of soft light. Shop around.

I've used the 4' kino and it's a nice light, doesn't seem to have the same kick as the biax stuff though. VERY pricey for something that has some really cheap components. I'd rather stack a couple duals when I need a tall light like that.
