Silly O7Q question for those that have it

I can't get the power connector out but i don't want to force it either.

I'm obviously not intelligent enough to work it out for myself.

There's a small button underneath the connector, i assumed i press that and it would come out but so far it hasn't. I've tried depressing it and twisting too, still no luck. This is the AC power unit if that makes any difference.

As i said i don't want to really force it unless that's what i'm supposed to do!

cheers

Thanks Stuart, ended up using something metal to push the button in hard then after a good yank it came out. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't some twist type thing that would have me ripping a board out through the hole...

cheers!

No prob Paul, glad you got it sorted (and Happy Christmas)

BTW, did you get anywhere analysing the camera output/O7Q recorded signal when flipping between slog2, cine 2 and cine 4 on 2K raw? Still haven't managed to do any more tests our side, and now pretty much chocca til mid Feb...

Not yet, up to eyeballs at the moment.

I will try to compare standard output (dpx), 2K RAW and 4K down sampled by monitor and output to another recorder. I just want to see whether i can use 2K RAW until 4K is available. I really hope so. I think some of my objections are down to the compression at HFR, perhaps standard rates are better. Then switch between the profiles too to see if i can understand how they're affecting the output. The 'word' i had from Sony months back was that the camera *always* output Linear, but we know this not to be entirely true - even Slog can be affected by black gamma adjustments.

cheers
