Sigma lenses

Does anyone know about the 30mm & 50mm 1.4 4/3 mount lenses? Are they a true 30 & 50? Or do they turn into a 60mm & 100mm when mounted on the AF100?

I was wondering if the 30 & 50 was a true 30 & 50 4/3 on the AF100 with no crop factor.

There is no such thing as a "true" 30 or 50, or an untrue one for that matter. Any 30mm will have the same field of view on a given sensor. It will have a different field of view on a different size sensor. It's a 30mm lens regardless of what it's mounted on. If you must compare to full frame, which is what everyone does when they think a lens has a "default" field of view, then a 30mm on your AF100 will have the same field of view as a 60mm lens on a full frame camera. The only difference with these lenses is that they come in a 4/3 mount so you needn't use an adapter.

Remember there's a difference between 4/3's and Micro 4/3's (MFT). You will still need an adapter for a 4/3 lens.
