If they can make this, I wonder if they can also make a FF 28-70 f/1.8 or similar?
The olympus 14-35mm f2 is darn closeThats why mft is a good sweet spot. If on,y they could make something as fast as this
Once the proper speedbooster arrives, it could be converted into a ~12-25 f1.2 zoom with MFT coverage. I can think of worse things.Thats why mft is a good sweet spot. If on,y they could make something as fast as this
And it probably will be designed for short-flange mounts only, too, so it won't work on the BMC+speedbooster either. Just a guess, though.
Awesome news, great for wedding receptions where you often need a wide & fast lens but also the flexibility of a zoom.
Yep, remains to be seenSorry, it -probably- won't cover m43 if you pair it with a speedbooster: only 2.1x (1.5/0.71) or smaller sensors. And it probably will be designed for short-flange mounts only, too, so it won't work on the BMC+speedbooster either. Just a guess, though.
Canon and Nikon mirrored dslr is sigma's bread and butter, I'm sure that's what its designed for. Speed booster to blackmagic pocket camera would be cool.
The FF Canon 24-70mm F2.8 L zoom is $2,000 so I bet a FF 28-70 F1.8 would cost much more.Awesome news, great for wedding receptions where you often need a wide & fast lens but also the flexibility of a zoom.

Rokinon 24mm F1.4 is all three...at least on full frame anyway.wide, fast, affordable. Pick two 'cause you're not getting all three.
