Sigma 50mm 1.4 Art Lens in Canon or Sony A Mount?

I want to buy this lens for use with my FS700 and A7s. I already have the speedbooster and EF to E Mount adapter, so it would makes sense to get the Canon mount version. However the idea of phase detection for video autofocus appeals to me, so I'm asking to anyone who has used the Sony version of the Sigma 50mm f/1.4 Art lens with the LA-EA4 A Mount to E Mount adapter: would you recommend this version, even if it meant having to buy the LA-EA4 for an extra $348. Does the AF justify the extra expense?

So, a few things :

-If you use the SIGMA on the A7s with Speedbooster, you must know that you'll need to shoot in crop/APS-C mode. You need regular FF adapter with A7s.

-I don't know if the 50mm ART is available in A-mount yet. Sigma said on this subject that new lenses will not get A-mount at product launch but 6 months later.

-I don't know for V.4 but previous LA-EA adapters worked only at f/3.5 and higher.

My piece of advice : get the Canon EF mount version, forget about LA-EA4 and be sure to have an EF to E mount adapter that accept full frame lenses (Metabones Mark.IV for instance)

SIGMA 50mm/1.4 ART is an amazing lens, you will not regret a second it's purchase. With Speedbooster on FS700 it's an even more amazing F/1.0 lens.
