Hi guys,

Has anyone tried the Sigma 30mm f1.4 lens on the AF100 yet?

I've been using an old Nikon 50mm f1.8, but it's a tad long for confined spaces and I was toying with buying the Sigma or perhaps a Nikon 35mm f1.something.

Any recommendations please?

I was also looking at this lens- but have decided to wait for the Panasonic 25mm f1.4. It is more expensive, but it is native m4/3 and so will talk with the AF

I had one that was unfortunately stolen a while back - for the price it's a really excellent lens. A bit loud on the iris control, but great images, talks to the camera (and a bebob Foxi) through the Oly or Panny adaptors. A *tiny* bit soft, but gave for lovely, washed out style shots. I would have bought another straight away if it wasn't for the fact I managed to find a Nokton 25. Look here for the results, all the shallow depth of field shots were done on the Sigma http://www.vimeo.com/25140643

Pretty cool. Noticed quite a bit of stuttering in the pans on your films. I'm experiencing the same. Have you got any tips to dial it out?

Yes,get a better tripod head lol! My Manfrotto 519 is not worth the money i paid for it, think it's time to invest in a Sachtler.

if some one used and would like to comment on that lens would be great - Sigma EX DG APO HSM Macro II IF 70 mm - 200 mm 2.8 Lens For Four Thirds
