I know this is not a video, but I just picked up a sigma 12-24 and thought I would show ya'll just how wide this lens goes. It's one of (if not 'the'?) widest lenses available for full-frame sensors that aren't considered fisheye. I thought I would share a photo to show you what kind of an image a 12mm lens makes.

Sigma 12-24 @ 12mm, f9.0 -- that's me sitting in front of the lens. The building in the center of the shot is one of Toronto's tallest. Should give you an idea of the FOV.

At 4.5 (full open) the corners vingette noticeably. It's a cool effect but I didn't want it for this picture. I haven't personally had enough experience with the lens, but reviews say at f8 the lens starts to really shine. So I was trying to hit that spot.

It's a pretty wild lens. Mine is broken, so it's going in for repairs soon, but I'm looking forward to having it back.
