Side Release

On the right side of my camera if you are looking from the back is where the release latch is for sony's media. I run SD cards, but have the door over it for protection. For some reason it won't come out and the release latch goes all the way back. Anyone else have this issue?

open the latch all the way, and then push the cover up - unplugging the microphone will help also.

I do that and it won't go up. Latch stays all the way back too.
