FS7: Side handle no longer communicating with body.

Looks like the little electronic connector got slightly bent. I can't use the side handle now, which is crucial for hh work. Anyone know who to contact or where to send this in for the fastest repair?

Oh hell... that (along with the vf connector somehow breaking) has been one of my fears since owning the camera. Assume here in the states Sony NJ is the place to contact or your local dealer... whether it's repair or perhaps more likely, replace, is another topic...
 
I can fix that fast and test/confirm on FS7 before return. PM or email to arrange.

Thing with Teaneck NJ, is they charge I believe $200 as a diagnostic fee to open the box. This is what someone reported here anyway, that shooter had already sent his side grip in to Sony and was charged the diagnostic but it still saved him another $200 to have Sony box it up and send it to me (!) That was for a slipping Release button fix. I charge $125 and do it in a day. Sony a few week longer.
