Shutter speed?

When shooting 24p what would be the appropriate shutter speed? 60, 30? Is there a certain time to use one or the other? Thanks
 
The DVX has a number of different shutter speeds. The higher the shutter, the more clear fast-moving objects or pans will be, but with this can include strobing in the image. 1/48 is commonly used in film cameras, and can be used for most shooting. I know I saw an article describing shutter speeds in detail, I just can't find it at the moment.
