shutter speed question

hello there... just a question... when I try to set my shutter speed to 1/100, I get 1/100.2 on my DVX100b. I do this with the syncro scan option, is that the right way to do it? will that ".2" affect the equation when recording 50i to get a slow motion on a 25p timeline?(I'm on PAL land)... thanks in advance.
 
Use the speed sel buttons and you should be able to select 1/100 directly.

And no, .2 won't affect anything significantly.
