Shutter speed below 1/30

I have a Pal GH1 with firmware 1.1
The other evening i was doing some quick tests for a rig i'm building and was in a dark room. Had the cam in Creative Movie Mode, but for some reason i couldn't lower the shutter below 1/30 .. this is strange because i have already used very slow speeds in low light situations... Any reason why this would happen ?
 
Have to be using 720p 60, in CMM (set at M), AND Manual Focus - then you can go below 1/30
 
... i always use 720, but maybe i had switched to AF for some reason... i'll have to check as soon as i go home... thank you very much guys.
