Shutter speed adjustment

Is it possible to quickly adjust shutter speed on the manual wheel? Or is it necessary to go into the menus?

The manual makes it sound like you have to go to the menus.

try using the toggle knob on the handle. you can change a lot of settings with that.

i'm wondering if you can change the shutter speed without going in to the menu --- I like how on the JVC HD100 you can adjust it quickly from the thumb wheel.

Wouldn't it be a little dangerous to adjust the shutter only by touching the wheel? You can't do it, you must first enter the on-screen direct menu, which is not the MENU button one.

You can even change the way you set the shutter, speed, angle, or E-something (little numbers that I don't know what are but are useful for fine shutter tuning, reducing flickerings).
