Showshoe, WV mountain biking trip.

Re: Showshoe, WV mountain biking trip.

Hot damn that was what I needed. That made my morning! :D

I was wondering how your dvd was coming along. Some great footage in there. Your editing is smooth. Not only does it flow well but the riding action fits together. Oh, nice freeze frame with the pan/zoom transition.

They have those sweet wood tracks at Snowshoe? Those banked turns looked very nice to ride.

Dang, my bike is waiting to hit the trails. Won't get out until late this afternoon.

Re: Showshoe, WV mountain biking trip.

That it great camera work! There will be several questions for you on this video that people will want to ask I'm sure. Oh, mine first, Did you have just one camera, or two?

Re: Showshoe, WV mountain biking trip.

Very smooth! I didn't want it to end!

Re: Showshoe, WV mountain biking trip.

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!!! I love it! I love the color in the deer. Was it color corrected? Let us know where to order when finished.

Re: Showshoe, WV mountain biking trip.

Wow, that was really nice work. Did you color correct? It looked visually really good. Nice server BTW, fast download.

Re: Showshoe, WV mountain biking trip.

That was really nice. Very well put togegther. It looked like a beautiful day, you must of had a blast.

I have to admit though, I was kind of waiting (ie hoping) for someone to fall off those skinny tracks.

Re: Showshoe, WV mountain biking trip.

Thanks!

OK....answers....

All the stunts were built by Snowshoe Park and are built very well....almost too good, if you know what I mean.

Everything was shot with one camera except for the helmet cam footage.

The only color correcting was in some dark woods shots and the bus shot, which turned out to have a strong green tint. Most all the other shots were staight out of the camera and compressed to wmv.

I will be finishing it up in the next week with the graphics, sound and tightening up the edits.

BTW, did anyone get to hear it in 5.1?

Re: Showshoe, WV mountain biking trip.

Incredible camera work especially during some of the jumps !

Nothing bad to say about it at all, except that if you were to shoot some more of the same type of action, you might request that your "actors" (stunt riders) each wear a Bright color shirt to help distinguish them from each other, and to really help distinguish them in the dark greens, grays and blacks of the interior forest shot.

Hope that tiny tip helps and that you don't over look my general feeling, which is that your action camera work and editing skill is TOP NOTCH! ;D
