Showreel

Great reel, totally professional...but...as MOVIE STUNTS pointed out, and to keep it in the context of - Screen Grabs / Clips of HVX footage

What was it shot on?
What roles did you play in the production?
Etc...etc...

If it was shot by a different bunch of DP's on 35mm, edited on an Adrenaline suite then graded on a davinci, then get in the que of self promotion.

If it was shot on the HVX and you cut it in Vegas, then it's brilliant.

Sorry to sound negative.

Thanks.

Some of the footage was shot with HVX200, and the rest is DVX100 and XL1. Nothing close to 35 mm :). Music and 3D modeling was done by two other guys, I did the rest. We are not a big production company... The reason I posted this here is because the latest (and probably the best) footage on the showreel was shot by HVX200. I'm really glad if you liked it!

Thanks!
Yes, it's all commissioned jobs. The hardest thing for me was to pick the right ones. Some of the projects are "celebrities", which is good thing to show - it's a good reference. But some of the best work was for "unknown" artists and companies, and it's good to show because of it's quality. So you have to decide and compromise... I also tried to keep it short, so it's interesting enough to watch.

Thanks, egg clips are category announcements for music video awards show. There were 24 of them, these two are for Best Pop and Best Rock Album. I remember we destroyed over 500 eggs...

what was shot with the hvx and what was some of the other stuff shot with? How do you think the hvx compares to the other cams you shot with?
