very impressive looking stuff, what was that song playing? Definetly many shots that could have been in a studio feature.
 
You work looks top notch. What editing software was used. Looks like there was a lot going on in between visual effects and color correction.

Only thing I can say is that might be considered as constructive criticism is that I have never seen a reel that spans 2 years let alone three. Maybe you should take that title out. But thats it.
 
I like it! Impressive stuff. I would cut all the bar stuff at around :44 though. That just looks like low contrast sepia tinted footage, really amateurish compared to everything else. If possible get a more "epic" sounding song since the current track is pretty low energy throughout.

And why a 4:3 aspect ratio? I would do a native 2.35:1 or a 16:9 cropped. Looks much more cinematic.

The song playing was the theme from A fistfull of dollars and everything was edited in Final Cut but color corrected in After Effects. The reason why I made it is because I just finished Filmschool in Belgium. So it's everything I made during filmschool (3-year program).

@ Huy vu: you're right, it even added contrast! It was the only scène shot on 16mm! Damn I love digital. The 4:3 aspect ratio was a bit dumb, I did it because I had to show it on a big 4:3 screen and was afraid that using a widescreen version would end up in distortion. But thanks for the advice, I'm going to change it!
