Hi, the showreel is about my work in postproduction, 2D/3D and compositing. Several of the videos were shot with the DVX-100 (the music is mine, by the way). I have 3+ years experience as a freelancer and I consider myself an "all-rounder" with good team working skills and willingness to continue learning. Please visit the website to access more video and audio samples, plus a complete portfolio (pdf); write or give us a ring should you need any other information!

Hi Lobillo,
I think that your compositing work is really good, the music is a little mellow, maybe add a few sounds effects to it (spice it up some). After a while the music gets a little boring, but don't get me wrong I like the song, just not for a demo.

What are you using for 3D software?

Thanks for your comment. The music I made thinking of no taking much attention away from the video. But you might be right, its a bit "ambient" maybe... I love genres that mix different kinds of music; in this particular case I tried to put some classical music into electronic rythms... may I ask what would you suggest? any ideas, or references of music you would favor?

For 3D my favorite is Maya, but there are things here and there from Softimage 3D and XSI because of what I had available at the moment.

looked pro to me, thought it ironic that something from 16:9 was shown in 4:3 though. Ths music was fine for me, like you said, this was more about the video work.

It's definitely about the video work, but your music/sound effects should tell your story as well as the video. It's what gives it character and you don't want to bore your clients. Just like at the movies, when something scary is about to happen, don't you hear sound effects and background music? Now if you weren't to hear all of that, you would probably walk out and ask for your money back (just analogy). So in my opinion music is the key.
