Show Me Your Stuff...Please!

Having gotten VERY excited about the possibilities for "filmmaking" with the DVX100, I am about to spend thousands of dollars on a new camera, tripod, lighting and sound equipment, etc., etc. However, except for a few QuickTime clips I've seen here and on other sites, it occurred to me that I haven't seen any output. I really feel the need to see the DVX "film look", up close and personal, so to speak. I need something to pop into the ol' VCR and watch.

If any of you clever readers have produced any good footage - shorts, features, etc. on a DVX in 24P (preferably 16:9) and are willing to put it on VHS tape and send it to me, I will pay you for your effort.

You can respond here or direct to iJack@Comcast.net.

Thanks,

I believe that a film titled Art History will be going onto DVD soon. Keep your eyes peeled for this. It will def be on this site. It'll be more than you imagined!

Soderbergh shot "K Street" with the DVX-100, and for MTV that Britney "Zone" special. Also, a Dixie Chicks concert was shot with the same. The new Wim Wenders film also used this camera.

Broadcast, film-like quality for under 4 grand? A bargain!

[If only I had one :-( ]
