Shouldn't 60P be slow motion?

I used to shoot a lot of videos with the HVX200. I shot in 60P a lot and the rest in 24P. When I would import the 60P footage into my 24P project, it would play in very slow motion. Now I have the HMC40. I just shot a music video almost entirely in 720/24P, but I also shot about 15 shots in 60P for slow motion. I just imported all the footage into my project and none of the 60P is slow motion. It's all just playing at 60 frames. This is really making no sense to me so if anyone can help out that'd be awesome...

720/60p is meant to be the "live", or "reality" look.

If you want it to be slow-mo, you'd have to slow it down in post.

i havent done it for a while but i think if u just right click on the clip in FCP and select send to cinema tools or something to do with cinema tools and getting it to open in that program

then when it is opened in cinema tools just click conform and then select what ur timeline is in
FCP whether it is 24p or 30p or whatever

then just go back into FCP and take a look at the clip that was 60p and now it should be i slow motion and looking real fine

BTW I used to conform the clips in final cut, and then my editor showed me that even when you slow down the footage on the timeline itself - it looks just as good. This is at least in fcp7.
