Shoulder Rig for Events Filming

Hey guys, I'm trying to decide on a relatively cheap shoulder rig to use on event filming such as weddings.

I've come across this. Unfortunately I've not had any experience with any shoulder rigs before. And it's not easy to find one I can try out in Malta so I'm going to have to order 'blindly'. Do you think this would suffice for my fs700? I don't expect it to be top quality or anything like that.

Any input would be much appreciated! :)

i bought the same kit for my B cam, and i find some of it to be surpriseingly good, some to be as expected, and some to be suboptimal

the "good" is the FF, the one i got is tight/backlash free & works really well
the "as expected" was the ton of fittings and odd bits, alot of them are in storage as i didn't find a use for them on my camera rig
the "suboptimal" is the matte box, it's really crap, and flags are useless, and flop about, and the rods are slightly larger diamiter than the well buillt bits like WestSide's basplate will fit, so they work in some cases, and won't fit in others

It was bought at the price of the FF alone, and that after my AC had a chance to try it, and reported that it was useable.. the rest of the kit i viewed as basicly a giveaway

If you also go on the manuafacturers website they will gladly sell you bits and pieces too, so you can get stuff like just the rails etc etc ... http://www.thecinecity.com Luckily I have Ea-50's so I'm thru with rigs but the site does have a massive selection to choose from!!
