Shoulder mount HVX

Is there a way to use the HVX similar to an XL1/2 as a shoulder mounted camera....or is this only done with a spider rig?
 
Or, DVmultirigpro with the support rod... I find that to be much less fatiguing and more stable than the spiderbrace. One hand operation, etc... More pricey too though... but also more than a shoulder mount rig.

It's not cheap but take a look at the Zacuto shoulder rig. I think it is the ultimate for the HVX while using a Firestore and on board monitor.

I agree. I've ordered the z-offset mount and creating my own version. I already have the baseplate, battery plate and a bunch of rods along with some grips that I have mounted to a zacuto mount. Will accomplish the same thing for about $225 more dollars.

yea im thiking about getting just the Shoulderpad, and counterbalancing it with some weights.
 
the zacuto stuff is TOP NOTCH! best product in the world, hands down - but at $2000 for a comprehensive setup - pretty damned spendy!

to answer TimurCivan: that cb105 thing is like right around $100 depending on the add-ons
 
I really like the shoulder pad. I thought I would be disappointed in dishing out for it, but I'm more than satisfied. Q-release + shoulder pad makes me like it even more.

Need.... 11lb. Lunchbox...... arms...... jello.........
