I would give it a go...Though not on HD waverider says that it shows up too many spots on bums.
 
I checked and I have slightly more than 100 hours on the camera. I got it last may, so I'm guessing by the time HVX comes out I'll be up near 200 hours. how bad does that degrade the value?
 
seanh420, I don't think at this point it would make much of a difference at this point. Especially since you already hit the 100+ hour mark.
We're at a stage in the tape world now, where everything will eventually be shot onto hard-drives.
(SD & DV vs. HD.)
We're in that same stage when VHS players transitioned into DVD. (VHS vs. DVD)
You'd probably make a few hundred more now vs. 6 months from now.

But if you do decide to sell now, just remember, it's not going to be cheap going HD with the accessories and other hardware you will need.
