I am just green in HDV field ~ Hope can get some advise from those expertise in this forum~~I am starting to garb some gears for my shooting, I dun hv much experience in HD format cuz last time I finished my short movie via DVX 100 edit with vegas 6.0, then I jump into Mac world and using FCP but still stick with my DVX 100, but for my recent project, I wanna shoot with HDV to get better image , my plan is get the HVX 200 with 2-4 18 gb p2 card, a steadicam and a cinemek 35mm converter or brevis 35, then I will eait it with FCP with my 3.06 ghz imac. I only got about 12000 usd to get those gears, I got imac already.
But then, I saw a-cam d11, but shooting with UNCOMPRESSED image,,,I think I need to buy another super computer to edit in real time , is that right?
Just wondering, that a-cam shouldnt be suit me cuz it needs some more professional setup for editing, do you think my HVX plan is the best deal in this moment? Actually I am not very fussy about the quality of the image in the other word I am quite OK with DVX , wht I mean is I dun wanna put all my money of getting BESt image which I knew I can't in such small budget, just try to get the best thing in a limited budget to get better color and depth scene for my next independence movie, any......advise?
