Shotgun Mic holder on body or handle?

Often a shotty is nice to have on a cam for nat sound b-roll- does this cam have a mount for that similar
To the ones included with all other panasonics?

It has two places where you could mount one shotgun; the first is above the XLR interface, and the other is at the top right of the handle.

Do you know that the top right of the handle is in the final camera, I only saw that on the Pre-Pre Production modles.
 
good luck getting no handling noise with the panasonics mic mount - found it was unusable on dvx100 & hmc 151, much better to use a proper shockmount if you are limited to using a mic on camera
 
Thanks guys. The panasonic mount has been tolerable for me when on sticks or even light hand holding. Quick and dirty it does the job.
 
I added some foam on the inside of the DVX mic mount for use with an AKG shotgun and it worked fine.
For the AFX, I just picked up the short shotgun and shockmount from B&H. The shockmount has both a hotshoe and a threaded socket.
I understand there will be a hot shoe mount on the handle.
