Shotgun Mic. for the AG AC-90: SAVE a bundle

Hi, you sure the links are right? The two mics look quite different to me. As for comparing two mics, there are two ways, 1) study the technical specs for each and 2) get a pro musician to listen to both. Many times the one that "looks" best does not sound the best. Of course, it depends on what you are recording. I hold the view that on-camera mics are the same as on-camera lights. Use them only when you have to.

Hi Lou

I still love my Rode Videomics..At wedding receptions they can punch thru the noisest room and still get good audio..As Walter says only use them when you have to..they are fine for close up work and when the music level is loud as well but I wouldn't use them for any distance recording at all.

The Rode can also fit into the side syle Panny holder simply by removing the cradle and you have no more bust suspension bands either...I have always had a pair for evry set of cameras!!

Agreed. I have my Rode on the 130. I wanted to have the 90 as compact as possible.
